Mitch McGary coming to both UNC and Duke in early September
Posted Aug 16, 2011
Thanks to his stellar play in the spring and summer, McGary has shot up the recruiting rankings, now slated as the No. 5 prospect in the Class of 2012 by Rivals.com and rated No. 3 by both ESPN and Scout. Recently, McGary narrowed his list of potential college destinations down to six: Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Duke and Michigan. Now, the 6-foot-10-inch forward is scheduling official visits for the fall. Included on McGary’s itinerary is a four-day stretch in early September in which he will visit both UNC and Duke.
