Sylvester Williams takes rare path


is unusual compared to his North Carolina football predecessors. It starts with the fact that he is a junior college transfer, having arrived at UNC this season by way of Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. Historically, North Carolina has signed so few junior college products that Williams understood he was a rare exception to the rule even before he got to Chapel Hill.
