"Bowl, yeah, we're not there," said senior defensive end Hilee Taylor, who had two sacks while losing to N.C. State for the first time in his career. "It hurts because we easily could be contending for the one or two spot in the ACC. "We keep coming up short, and it hurts. You train and train for eight or nine months for 12 opportunities, and to come up just short in about half of them, it hurts."
