Duke held UNC’s high-powered offense in check for three quarters, allowing just three field goals. Bryn Renner, who took a hard hit on the third play of the game, was 10 of 19 passing for just 36 yards until bouncing back in the fourth quarter, and Fedora agreed that the junior quarterback looked “a little off.” Even still, UNC almost pulled out its 22nd win in 23 years against the Blue Devils.
