No. 10 Miami wary of repeating 2004’s upsetting trip to North Carolina

If you think the Hurricanes can’t lose when the teams meet Thursday night, think again. Actually, just think back to Oct. 30, 2004. No. 3 Miami was heavily favored over a 3-4 UNC squad in Chapel Hill. But Miami couldn’t stop running back (175 yards) and true freshman kicked a 42-yard field goal as time ran out, lifting the Tar Heels to a 31-28 upset. (Palm Beach Post)
