Defensive Lineman Gavin Lewis Commits to UNC

At Bob Jones High School on Wednesday, Gavin Lewis chose North Carolina over UCLA. Lewis, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman, took official visits to both schools. Lewis also held scholarship offers from Colorado, Iowa State, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Purdue. UNC began recruiting Lewis when Tommy Thigpen joined UNC's staff in January.
