New Mexico transfer G Tru Washington commits to Miami

New Mexico transfer guard Tru Washington has committed to Miami. He played the past two seasons for the Lobos and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He moved from a bench role to a starter from his freshman to sophomore seasons. He went from averaging 6.6 points last season to 11.1 in 2024-25 while also contributing 2.1 steals. (On3.com)

Michigan transfer SG Justin Pippen commits to Cal

Michigan Wolverines shooting guard Justin Pippen has committed to California, On3’s Joe Tipton reported. He spent just one season with the Wolverines and will have three years of eligibility remaining. Pippen is the son of former NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, who won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls. (On3.com)

Florida State Basketball lands 4-star transfer forward Alex Steen

Florida State men’s basketball coach Luke Loucks took another step toward toward solidifying his frontcourt on Monday by landing a commitment from former Florida Southern forward Alex Steen. The 6-foot-9, 225-pounder from Panama City was named Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Year each of the past two seasons. (Warchant.com)

Pitt adds Iowa State's Nojus Indrusaitis in transfer portal

Dishon Jackson won’t be the only former Iowa State player joining Pitt men’s basketball this upcoming season. Nojus Indrusaitis took to social media to announce his commitment to the Panthers, just two days after Jackson. Indrusaitis didn’t play much for the Cyclones this past season, averaging just 2.1 points per game in 15 appearances. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)

BYU transfer forward Kanon Catchings commits to Georgia Bulldogs

Brigham Young forward visited North Carolina on Friday but committed to Georgia on Sunday. That bad news for the Tar Heels soon wasn’t so bad. Another Carolina target, Alabama transfer forward , who grew up in Chatham County and played at Seaforth High School, committed to the Tar Heels on Sunday night. (Tar Heel Tribune)

Michigan State transfer Tre Holloman commits to NC State basketball

Former Michigan State guard Tre Holloman has committed to play basketball at NC State. Holloman entered the portal April 1 after three seasons with the Spartans. He made 37 appearances and 16 starts this season. Holloway averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 assists in 23 minutes per game while shooting 37% from the field and 33% from beyond the arc. (On3.com)

Virginia transfer Dai Dai Ames commits to Cal

Former Virginia guard Dai Dai Ames has committed to take his talents to California, joining the Golden Bears via the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. He averaged 8.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Cavaliers during the 2024-25 season. He was the No. 67 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. Oklahoma transfer guard Duke Miles commits to Virginia

Oklahoma transfer guard Duke Miles committed to Virginia, he told On3’s Joe Tipton. He finished third on the Sooners’ roster in scoring this past season. Miles averaged 9.4 points per game and shot a team-leading 43% from three-point territory as Oklahoma made it to the NCAA Tournament. He previously started his career at High Point and Troy. Overtime Elite forward Thomas Bassong commits to Florida State

Luke Loucks and the Florida State basketball team gained their first high school commitment as Overtime Elite small forward Thomas Bassong committed to the Seminoles. The 6-foot-8 high school senior from France chose FSU over UCF. Last season with Overtime Elite, Bassong averaged 15.6 points per game, 7.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists. (Warchant.com)

Former UNC forward James Okonkwo back in transfer portal after helping Akron win MAC title

After being part of a championship season at Akron, former North Carolina forward is back in the transfer portal. Okonkwo transferred from UNC to Akron last offseason and has one season of remaining eligibility. Okonkwo was one of four transfers who led Akron to the Mid-American Conference regular-season and tournament titles. (Tar Heel Tribune)
